Quote: David Alan Arnold: “I think it’s why you see kids doing street takeovers; I think it’s why you see people fighting so bitterly on social media, because they don’t have a challenge and a risk and a meaningful quest in their lives. So, when they see someone they disagree with on Facebook, it’s on! They fight to the death. By not having risk or taking risk, it leaves the human spirit staving.
By taking risk and adventure away from people, it’s like a poisonous thing that you do to their spirit, and that’s why they try to kill each other when someone gets cut off in traffic. That’s NOT a normal reaction. That’s a reaction to someone who has nothing to fight for in their life, and so any fight is to the death. Their whole spirit is craving a risk and a reward. I do think thats an unhealthy aspect to our very comfortable society we have today. “
Mat 13:14 “In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, ‘YOU WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND; YOU WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE;
Mat 13:15 FOR THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL, WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR, AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES, OTHERWISE THEY WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES, HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART AND RETURN, AND I WOULD HEAL THEM.’
Mat 13:16 “But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.
Mat 13:17 “For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
Do you see the health in this section of scripture? Do you see the profound independence from the habits of the common world and the habits that can be made out of pure dependence on the Creator? All the prophets said these words, and all the faithful before the prophets knew these truths; but not only did they know them, they lived them. WE need only to know what the Father tells us to do in our health walk, and when we are sick, none other.
“Sometimes, I feel that my life is a series of trapeze swings. I’m either hanging on to a trapeze bar swinging along or, for a few moments, I’m hurdling across space between the trapeze bars.
Mostly, I spend my time hanging on for dear life to the trapeze bar of the moment. It carries me along a certain steady rate of swing and I have the feeling that I’m in control. I know most of the right questions, and even some of the right answers.
But once in a while, as I’m merrily, or not so merrily, swinging along, I look ahead of me into the distance, and what do I see? I see another trapeze bar looking at me. It’s empty. And I know, in that place in me that knows, that this new bar has my name on it. It is my next step, my growth, my aliveness coming to get me. In my heart of hearts I know that for me to grow, I must release my grip on the present well-known bar to move to the new one.
Each time it happens, I hope – no, I pray – that I won’t have to grab the new one. But in my knowing place, I know that I must totally release my grasp on my old bar, and for some moments in time I must hurtle across space before I can grab the new bar.
Each time I do this I am filled with terror. It doesn’t matter that in all my previous hurdles I have always made it. Each time I am afraid I will miss, that I will be crushed on unseen rocks in the bottomless basin between the bars. But I do it anyway. I must. Perhaps this is the essence of what the mystics call faith. No guarantees, no net, no insurance, but we do it anyway because hanging on to that old bar is no longer an option. And so, for what seems to be an eternity but actually lasts a microsecond. I soar across the dark void called “the past is over, the future is not yet here.”
It’s called a transition. I have come to believe that this transition is the only place that real change occurs. I mean real change, not the pseudo-change that only lasts until the next time my old buttons get punched.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the transition zone is the only real thing, and the bars are the illusions we dream up to not notice the void. The void – it’s that scary, confusing, disorienting nowhere that must be gotten through as fast and as unconsciously as possible?
Right?
No!
With all the fear that can accompany transitions, they are still the most vibrant, growth-filled, passionate moments in our lives. And so transformation of fear may have nothing to do with making fear go away, but rather with giving ourselves permission to “hang out” in the transition zone – between the trapeze bars – allowing ourselves to dwell in the only place where change (and real growth) really occurs.
How are your anger issues related to your cervical spine? How is neck injury or stomach pains related to your emotions? How do your fears fit into your health? How is arthritis related to what is going on deep inside of you?
Sometime between the dreams of your youth and yesterday’s to-do list, something precious has been lost: your priceless.

How our __(put each phrase below here)____ affects our health. Say it out loud.
I am here to tell you I have always known about the fabric fuss. When I was young, my mother would talk of things my grandmother had studied ( so this goes way back in history for truth and research). My mother would tell us cotton is best, and that any of the pure fabrics, like wool and linen are also healthy. Plastics were becoming more and more a part of clothing lines as I grew. After having kids own, I made sure they had clothes that were healthy, including using cloth diapers. I made sure the blankets, sheets, towels were all healthy also. I never researched why I felt this way until later in life. While in bible study one day, I read many scriptures using linen in the details. I decided to research further and found a wealth of information about the amazing cloth. Linen does not stain; even blood will wash out of it with water. To find out more about this amazing cloth, read the following article. Linen is probably the most healing and versatile of all fabrics/textiles. Wool and cotton and leather are also very interesting to study about.
I would like to invite you to learn more about what you wear, from head to toe. Create goals to get healthy off the plate; food is not the only thing necessary for good health. check this chart out to begin your journey.

Oxygen. I have written how oxygen is key to keeping our immune system in order and our blood cells healthy. As ordinary as breathing may seem, the intake of oxygen sustains human life at its most fundamental level. This can be seen in the very first book of the Bible in Genesis 2:7: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living soul.” The body has an immediate, moment-by-moment need for oxygen; not water, not food … oxygen. Not surprisingly, God has supplied us with more than a few foods that promote oxygen-rich blood to nourish this vital life requirement. Oxygen supports the body’s health, along with foods that build oxygen-rich blood to include in your daily diet (deep greens, kelp, blueberries, lemons, etc.). I like the article above, but I will not say you have to be a vegetarian to attain this kind of health, because each person’s needs are very different; I advocate finding what that is in yourself, but that the diet needs to be mostly raw is definite truth and fact.
On the subject of oxygen, I have learned more about the concept of life itself; I have a brief perspective in the following example.
I love to write! I have always loved to take notes and journal every part of my life. I never realized I could write without being perfectly able to write and so I lopped it off my radar. I wrote loads of poems as I grew up, and into adulthood. I wrote a song when I was an older teen that was performed in church as a special music long ago. And, I had the idea/dream to do children’s books at one point in my life with old manuscript ideas for those written down in my journals, but I let them slide from lies (deep in my conscious) that I am not a writer. Writers are just that—writers. Not all writers write correctly or with flow; that is what publishers and editors are for. I have learned this. I learned I don’t have to be good at all the aspects of writing to be a writer. I just need the passion and will to do so, and let the others come in and make it sound great. I have learned this same lesson in many areas of my life in recent years. Take an active part in your journey: You were created to use your talents to perform your passions, to accomplish your mission. Look up the book “Find the work you’re wired to do” by Ken Coleman. I just took the assessment, and I will say it is nothing like I have taken in the past. It confirmed, brought out what I just said above as a light bulb moment, for an example of how this test can change your way of thinking about things you lopped off, but can really be YOUR life after all.
I need more and updated reviews on Google, and Facebook likes/follows. Would you please take a few minutes, and it really is just a few minutes, to write a 5-star review about your services with me. It will help me to stay on top of the search bar for our area. BE as detailed as you feel you want to be. Health coaching, massage, and other services you have had with me, can be placed on the review. REVIEWS for Natural Helping Hands for Google

The reasons why you need a health coach are in this full article copied below from IIN.
As wellness has increased in popularity and the Internet has become an unprecedented resource for everything from recipes to research, many have taken their health into their own hands and experienced a wide range of results. With that has come the explosion of unverified information, confusion, and more yo-yo dieting than ever before!
The truth is there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach that’s going to work for everyone, and figuring out the most nourishing diet and lifestyle for YOU isn’t easy.
There are many factors that go into finding your unique balance, such as your family ancestry, body type, personal preferences, life circumstances, schedule, location, access to resources, and much more. Putting it all together in a way that makes sense and allows you to thrive requires a personal touch from someone knowledgeable and supportive. That’s where a Health Coach comes in!
A Health Coach can help you sort out truth from fiction, provide you with customized information that’s relevant to you and your individual challenges or goals, and most importantly give you the opportunity to ask questions and speak freely in a supportive environment.
1. You feel like something might be off with your health, but you’re not sure what it is. In addition to consulting your primary care provider, working with a Health Coach can help you dig deeper into what you’re experiencing, get to the root of your imbalance, and find new ways to help you feel your best again. From fatigue and low energy to acne and digestive issues, Health Coaches guide clients through listening to their bodies and making sustainable lifestyle adjustments to fix seemingly minor issues that may have major effects on health!
In addition, the Wall Street Journal reported on the value and effectiveness of health and wellness coaches.
In a recent article, they report that there is “a broader shift within the health-care industry toward keeping people well instead of simply treating them when they’re sick.” And that “although wellness coaching is a relatively new field, some recent research suggests that it does work—at least in the short term.”
2. You’re more likely to accomplish goals when you have guidance and accountability. Whether it is having trouble addressing your cravings, finding the motivation to keep up with your fitness routine, or getting inspired to be more creative in the kitchen, a Health Coach can help you establish the structure you need to make progress toward your goals. Regular check-ins with a Health Coach will help you feel accountable for the health decisions you make in a way that is motivating and encouraging.
3. You want to improve your diet and lifestyle but you’re not sure where to begin. One day you’re vegan, the next day you’re paleo, and the day after that you’re sure that Mediterranean is the way to go. Sound familiar? A Health Coach can help you take the pressure off perfection and simply take things one step at a time.
4. You’re tired of dieting, deprivation, and the frustration that comes with trying to lose weight.
If you’ve tried every diet under the sun and are fed up with feeling discouraged, a Health Coach will help you reconnect with your primary goals and what’s preventing you from achieving them. Health isn’t just about nutrition – in fact, weight loss comes with a variety of lifestyle related challenges that a Health Coach can help you safely address so you can shed the weight for good.
5. You want to become a more positive health influence on the people around you. Your first priority should be to establish healthy habits for yourself, and through that process you will inevitably become a positive role model for the people around you. A Health Coach can help you refine your own health and through that process, provide you with ways to inspire others along your journey, whether it’s your family, your community, or those whose lives you touch through your work.
6. You’re looking for a more personal approach to health from a caring individual who has your best interest at heart. If you’ve exhausted the Internet and find yourself overwhelmed with all the information out there and are unsure where to begin your wellness journey, a Health Coach is definitely for you. They will help you create a personalized roadmap to health that prioritizes simple methods that will support you to find lasting health and happiness.

The above verse calls us to transform our lives, which is deeply connected to the routines and practices we embrace each day. I know that daily routines can sometimes seem mundane or insignificant, but they hold great power in shaping who we are.
Just as habits shape our physical health, spiritual routines shape our spiritual health. I can say from personal experience that a routine involving prayer, Bible study, and reflection gradually transforms us into people who reflect Christ’s character. Whether we’re commuting to work, preparing meals, or spending time with loved ones, each moment holds the potential for spiritual growth and connection with God.
Consider the simple act of waking up each morning. Rather than rushing into the day’s demands, try starting with a moment of gratitude and prayer. This small act can set a tone of peace and purpose for the entire day. Similarly, approaching our work with positivity reflects our commitment to honoring God in all we do.
Let’s embrace routine not as a mere sequence of tasks, but as a series of moments where we can encounter and reflect God’s love.

I have recently started a sour dough starter, and keep it alive by feeding it daily or every other day. I make bread with it once a week. I am astounded with the time and scheduling it takes. I have had many learning moments while keeping the starter, starting a fresh starter, and making the bread. The entire process takes patience. I have been humbled by the details that go into each step. When I have decided to do my own thing, outside the process, or shorten the process, the bread is a fail. I have learned something with each loaf.
I found the following article interesting. Though it is not sour dough or yeast bread, it falls into the category of life lessons just the same, and has meaning in the title “life changing bread”. Enjoy the article.
Infant massage can be very helpful for babies who have experienced challenges in their lives. It is a wonderful way to strengthen the communication between parents and their children.
Massage therapy may help young children with DS improve their muscle tone, motor development, and visual function. It also helps to boost brain development by increasing blood flow and muscle activity.
Your IAIM Infant Massage Instructor will be able to guide you as you massage your baby. You and your baby are welcome in IAIM infant massage classes.
“As a parent of a 24 year old son with Down syndrome who had infantile spasms (bad seizure disorder) as a baby, I can attest to how infant massage helped to engage him and enliven him while he was “zonked out” on heavy seizure meds (depakene and klonipin). They also made him blow up like a balloon and lose his hair. It was awful. However, with infant massage and brushing techniques that we incorporated as part of his daily regimen, it helped to enliven him so that he could continue to cognitively learn and develop throughout this difficult period. It also helped me to counter the negative experience of having to inject him in his little chubby thighs with seizure meds throughout the day. He fortunately overcame the seizure disorder and went on to do just fine. I’m a first-hand believer!” – Agency Director of Family Support
“As my children grew up, I looked for those quiet moments when they really appreciated a massage. Sometimes it was when we all snuggled up in bed. Sometimes it was when I was visiting with a friend and a child found my lap was free and crawled in for a rubdown. Or after a bath. Or when they were sick. My youngest, who is now 19, still likes me to give her a massage. And sometimes she gives me one, too.”

“My twins are typical toddlers in lots of ways, but there really haven’t been any out of control fits or screaming or anything like that, and they’re both pretty centred for the most part. I give massage most of the credit for that”
